I have worked with so many people who have asked, “why me?” Why was I the one my uncle touched? Why was I the child that did not have new shoes when school started?

We never really know what this means until we don’t hear it. As children we struggle with so many confusing encounters with other people. Our feelings are hurt. We are laughed at.
